"St Niklaas church" Sint-Niklaaskerk - St Nicholas Church Tip by mvtouring

This was our first stop after we departed Tram no1. There was the most fantastic music playing as we were entering the church. The organist was reciting probably for Sunday mass or maybe some or other organ competition. The first Church of st Nicolas was built around the middle of the 11th centrury. The towers were designed entirely in the Schelde-gothic style. During the French revolution, the church was used as a horse stable.
