Ranalli's Pizza: "A Different Style of Pizza in Chicago!" Ranalli's Pizza Tip by BeatChick
Ranalli's Pizza, Chicago: 1 reviews and 3 photos
Ranalli's has been in business since 1937 (72 years!) in Chicago (Lincoln Park area) but is not just your ubiquitous Chicago-style deep dish pizza. Since we'd already tried Chicago-style pizza, Ian opted instead for a thin-crust style. So if that is your preference (lovers of New York pizza take note), then this is the pizza for you.
Like Lou Malnati's, Ranalli's delivered to our hotel as they were just 2 blocks from our hotel on Clark & Belden. The place is extremely popular, too, which we noticed when waiting for the bus one night. Cab after cab stopped in front of the place with people pouring into the pizzeria. They have outdoor seating with views of both Clark & Belden so I can see why it would be popular.
FYI - they do have free 90-minute parking, a rarity in Lincoln Park!
Favorite Dish: Thin pizza with pepperoni, extra cheese & light sauce - $16.25 (delivery charge $2.95)
