The Bankowa is one of the smallest yet most charming little cafes you could visit in Krakow. It has the feel and decor of an Austrian cafe, which Gosia reminded me is probably because it dates back to when Poland was under Austrian influence.
The coffees are excellent and their deserts are fabulous. Apple Struedel is another reminder of an Austrian cafe, but this last time there was a cheese cake that was scrumptious. Because of its size, you might struggle for a seat in this popular rest stop, but keep trying because it is absolutely worth it.
Incidentally... Bankowa translates to Bank Cafe. At home we have a Bank Cafe just down the street from my home.
