Yangzhou Things to Do: 35 reviews and 123 photos

This garden is the most famous in Yangzhou and was designed and built, in 1883, by the great Qing Dynasty landscape painter Shi Tao for Wang Yingtai, an officer of the Qing imperial court, this garden takes its name from the shape of bamboo leaves which resemble the Chinese character ge, meaning "self". It features weirdly shaped rocks, pavilions and lotus ponds.

You can visit it for free if you purchase the more expensive ticket for the Slender West Lake.

Address: 10 Yanfu Rd
