walking through Shanghai's newest luxury shopping and dining center. The South Block is bigger than the North Block of Xin Tian Di and it has an area of 25,000 Square meters and the design here is old shikumen blended into some modern designs. The Shops here are mostly restaurants from all over the world, boutiques, fashionable ornament shops, food courts, cinemas and a one-stop fitness center.

Nanjing Road may be the main shopping area of Shanghai but the Xin Tiand Di is the Main luxury Shopping Area of the largest City of China. This new shopping and dining Center was made from a renovated Stone Gate and various Shanghai Hutongs which were restored and new buidlings added up. It was built in 1997 and It retains the antique walls, tiles and exterior of the Shikumen housing of old Shanghai. On the other hand, its interior embodies a totally different world of international gallery, bars and cafes, boutiques or theme restaurants. Xin Tian Di is divided into two parts: the South Block and the North Block. The South Block mainly consists of modern architecture with Shikumen architecture as an accompaniment. Its North Block kept the old Shikumen architecture style. The North Block Contains the more expensive restaurants and the International Luxe Brands where you can shop to your heart's delight.
