is a major tributary of the Mighty Yangtze River and is the main river system of Shanghai and made the City into the main Business and Commercial Center of Mainland China. formerly known as Huangxiepu or Chunshen River, the huangpu river starts at the Tai Lake, runs eastwards through the Dianshan Lake in Qingpu County and then flows to Minhang District in Shanghai. At the Baidu Bridge in the center of Shanghai City, it joins with the Wusong River and finally flows into the East China Sea. Huangpu River is famous for the various River Cruises that goes around the various attraction in Shanghai like the Bund and Pudong Skyline and Beyond. The River is about 114 kilometers (about 71 miles) long and 400 meters (0.25 miles) wide with an average depth of nine meters (30 feet).
