For me, SHOPPING IN CASCAIS was an enjoyable pastime. The pedestrianized street Rua Da Raita in Old Town, offered numerous shops selling local wares including hand-embroidered linen, colourful clothing, souvenirs and hand-painted ceramic tiles - Azulejos.
Along the Beachfront on Avenida Marginal, are Kiosks selling souvenirs and shell crafts.
On Wednesdays, the Farmer's Market is held at the Mercado on the Rua Mercado.
Near Boca do Inferno, there is a small market selling linen, leather shoes, slippers and bags, and various souvenirs , all at reasonable prices.
Near the train station, Cascais Villa has two floors of stores selling mostly clothing and accessories. There is also the huge Food Court on the third floor
