located along Estrada de Santa Sancha in Barra Hill and overlooking the Sai Van Lake, The Governor General House is also known as Santa Sancha and was built in 1937 to serve as the official quarters of the Portuguese Governor General of Macau up to 1997 and after the handover became the State Guesthouse of the Macau Chef Executive for visiting Foreign Dignitaries. Althoug you can not enter the premises, you can take pictures of it at the Macau Tower or at the Avenida Dotour De Stanley Ho facing the Sai Van Lake. Inside the premises include a well manicures garden, tennis courts, a swimming pool and is guarded by local Macanese Police.
