STORES/ SHOPPING CENTRES, Mumbai: 29 reviews and 25 photos

Inorbit Mall was the first mall to arrive in the suburbs and was considered the king of Mumbai malls until the Oberoi Mall in Goregaon came along. I still think that Inorbit is much nicer with a better selection of stores if that's what you're looking for.

Inorbit has 3 floors of fun including the anchor department stores Shopper's Stop and Lifestyle. There's a Fame multiplex movie theater, food court, and a huge gaming center on the third floor. Inorbit is wi-fi enabled in the food court so you can synchronize your note-book and surf.

Restaurants: Nandos, Breadtalk(!), Ruby Tuesday's, Pizza Hut, Only Parathas, Pot Purri, Rajdhani, Bombay Blue, Noodle Bar, Barista, Birdys, China Joe, Dosa Diner, Roti!, Subway, Natural, Shamiana, Santinos, Kailash Parbat, Sanskriti, Dosa Plaza, Baskin & Robins, Gelato, Hot dog, Hot and Juicy (corn), Cafe Coffee Day, and more.

Partial Listing of Stores by name:

Planet Sports, Reebok, Hidesign (leather goods), Charles & Keith, the Bombay Store, Planet M (music), Levis, Revolutions, Pepe Jeans, United Colours of Benetton, Lee, Weekenders, Wrangler, Marks and Spencer, Nike, Adidas, Lacoste, Barbie and Lilliput (for children), Spencers Supermarket, Crosswords Bookstore, Wills Lifestyle, Provogue, etc., etc.

Partial List of Stores by type:

Men and women's clothing including Indian designers and Western wear, shoes, luggage, gift/card, baby clothes/supplies, children's clothing (including Barbie), jewelry, optical, computer/software, beauty salons, candy by the kg, home accessories, personal accessories, books/magazines, etc., etc.

There is usually some promotion - makeup application, talent show, etc. - going on. A nice place to escape the heat and spend an afternoon. Lots of parking (outside and basement). Gets very crowded on weekends and during holidays. Expect to go through metal detector and have handbags/bags checked.
