  Zion Valley from Angel's Landing

Angel's Landing actually looks worse than it is but there are some steep drop-offs so it's best to keep your eyes focused on where you're going: up. The way back down is a bit more daunting but at least you get to smile smugly at the poor wankers on their way up. The views from the top are fantastic of the Zion Valley though somehow, something is missing. It's Angel's Landing and you're standing on top of it, silly. It's only five miles round trip but the park says to allocate four hours but that really depends on your fitness level. It can be done in quite a bit less but no need to rush once on top unless you liked the chained bit that much!

Directions: Shuttle buses make thinking secondary. Get off when the driver says Angel's Landing trail head.
