We would have loved to stay more than one night, but in order to be where we needed to be in a week, that was all the time we had.A beautiful old hotel, made very comfortable. The people at Reception were very courteous and helpful, showing us 3 different rooms so that we could make a choice. All the rooms were nice, but I preferred the view from the one we chose, even tho the bathrm was a little smaller than the others. Very comfortable beds, FREE WIFI in the room. We always drink the tap water, but here it is tasting a bit like old pipes, but we had no problem.

Their bar area was very atmospheric, and since we had a big downpour just in early evening, that is where we had a drink, altho there were no other guests around.

Lovely restaurant; but we were skipping dinner, having had a big lunch. Breakfast was in same area and was a nice full buffet of lovely breads, jams, meats, yogurts, etc. (see 4th PHOTO)

Unique Qualities: Our room had a great view out across the wide countryside, see 3rd Photo.
