Paris Off The Beaten Path: 1,968 reviews and 4,171 photos
A quaint little street just behind the St. Gervais church with most of the houses dating back over 200 years. At no 12, this house built in 1327 for the Abbey of Maubuisson, was handed on in 1672 to the "Filles de la Croix St. Gervais" until 1972 when the City council bought it. It os now run by the "Maisons Internationaux de la Jeunesse et des Etudiants"- a type of youth hostel. Further along at no. 15 is a small garden placed over the site of the old charnel house of St. Gervais. Unfortunately not accessible, only through the grilled gate.
Hotel de Ville, St. Paul or Pont-Marie are the closest metros.
