Rooms come with fairly standard equipment. Sinks are outside the bathroom / toilet room, but there are two sinks, which makes a family stay easier. In our room there was a microwave, the typical refrigerator / mini-bar, a coffee maker, and a sofa.

The hotel appears to have gotten a great deal on flat screen TVs, which are located in various places in the hotel, including the breakfast room on the 3rd floor and in each of the rooms. This appears to have created a bit more floor space in each room by eliminating the TV cabinet.

There is a small business center in the hotel lobby that includes two computers. If possible, I suggest brining a laptop as there is a high chance that someone might be using those two computers. There is WiFi service available.

Free shuttles are offered to various locations, including the Seattle Center and downtown. They leave every 1/2 hour, and reservations are recommended as they can fill up fast.

There are an assortment of room types. The ADA room has a shower with handrails and a shower head on an adjustible hight bar with a hose. Some rooms have hot tubs (or so I have been told).

I was pleasantly surprised to find that, while there are bellhops available if required, they are not pushy at all. In fact, you don't have to bring your luggage to the hotel lobby at all. The typical procedure is to park in one of the spots near the hotel front desk, get the room key, and then drive to a location further up the parking structure. This puts your car close to the elevators to the rooms, and keeps the luggage out of reception.

Buses on the route in front of the hotel are electric, and very quiet - queter than the auto traffic. You will not have to worry about them waking you up at night if you have your window open.

From gas works park in Lake Union, it appears that the upper floors have a great view of the lake and further north. However, those rooms probably are a bit more expensive.

Unique Qualities: Right on Lake Union. I'm guessing that the upper floors facing the lake probably have a reasonably nice view.

The free shuttles to downtown and Seattle Center are a wonderful touch, but if you want more, then the public bus service right outside the door goes to the University of Washington and downtown as well.

I have put "not applicable" for the price compared to other places as I am not sure how this compares to other places in Seattle.

Apparently if you make a last minute reservation, there is quite a significant surcharge at times.

If you require the downtown shuttle to pick you up and deliver you to the hotel, it is suggested to call at least 15 minutes beforehand - and the more warning the better.
