Maison Bertaux: "bohemienne atmosphere" Maison Bertaux Tip by PALLINA

Maison Bertaux, London: 2 reviews and 2 photos

This 130 years old cafeteria offers lovely croissants and a sophisticated French atmosphere; 6-7 small tables inside and some others ouside. Cakes are really good; it's a pity that the cafeteria section (I mean coffe and cappuccino) are really nothing in comparison. Moreover, the lady (the owner?) looked tired at 9 o'clock am and not so fancy in serving Italian tourists. Moreover, our breakfast were bloody expensive, we paid for 2 sort of cappuccino (I cannot really name it cappuccino!) and 2 crossant 11Ł. A robbery. Hope it will be cancelled from the Lonely Planet's suggestions soon.
