"CDG to Paris" Charles De Gaulle Airport Tip by cochinjew

Charles De Gaulle Airport, Paris: 48 reviews and 40 photos

Looking through the questions asked about Paris in the forums, i notice that nearly half the questions are about CDG the paris airport and the transportation thereto. I use CDG fairly frequently, about three times a month and every thing goes smoothly. it is an easy airport to navigate despite the perceived difficulties. It is crowded so it may be a problem to some.
when you arrive, beware that US based airlines are parked a little bit away from the immigration desks so a short walk may be involved. then quickly collect the bags and you are out of the customs. the arrival area looks crowded and may faze some travellers. you go out and there is an area clearly marked for Le Bus to Porte Maillot and CDG Etoille..the centre of paris..
the buses come one every 20 minutes.. once they leave terminal 2 C, they stop at terminal 2F for air france arrivals and then on to Terminal 1 which is a short ride away. once we leave terminal 1, usually you are in Porte Maillot within thirty minutes.

it is 14 euros one way and 25 euros round trip. you can surely expect these to go up on a quarterly basis

Mode: TO
Type: Bus
