Walking distance to the Malecon and the National Hotel. A beautifully kept ground floor apartment in an old villa with two rooms for guests and a shared bathroom with original yet comfortable fittings. Rooms have air-conditioning.

Havana is already a very romantic city and this house adds to the romance even more with its beautiful high corniced ceilings, great wooden window shutters and original artwork. Martha and Julio were wonderful hosts, very eager to welcome us in and make us happy. Even though we were only able to stay for one night, they treated us as part of the family. Martha prepared a huge feast of traditional dishes and Julio kept us entertained with his stories about life in Cuba. Both speak good English and are very friendly and open. They arranged taxis for us and sent us off to the airport with a hearty breakfast and warm wishes. A great place to stay in Havana - close enough to Havana Viejo to experience all the sights, but just far enough away to sleep in quiet and splendour.

Unique Qualities: Beautiful architecture and furnishings make this stay a very special one. Close to the Malecon and National Hotel.
