At the southern end of Uz Jezuite, leading from Gudulic Square is a long and beautiful set of stone steps leading up to the Poljana R. Boskovica and the Church of St. Ignatius and Jesuit Monastery. These Baroque steps were designed by the Italian Pietro Passalacque and built in 1738. The steps were modelled and based on the world famous ?Spanish Steps? in Rome.
