Senglea is another of the ?Three Cities? but is not as interesting as Vittoriosa, mainly due to the damage inflicted upon it during WWII. However one of Malta?s most iconic symbols is located at the tip of the Senglea peninsula. La Vedette is a watchtower over-looking the Grand Harbour and has carvings of the famous eyes and ears of Malta which symbolise watchfulness. These eyes can be seen on many of Malta?s fishing boats too, but more of that later :) Senglea is also home to the beautifully restored Church of Our Lady of Victory and St. Philip?s Church.

Directions: You can reach Senglea by taking bus 3 from the Valetta terminus
