This Montezuma Well is actually a part of the Montezuma Castle National Monument. There are trails here and a great place for hiking, history studies and even exploration of the prehistoric Sinaguan cliff dwellings and the pueblo ruins. There is also the 1,000 year old irrigation ditch which today is still being used by the local residents!

At the Montezuma Well National Monument, there are limestone sinkhole, cliff dwellings and lush oasis by Wet Beaver Creek.

This monument is open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.. Memorial Day-Labor Day.

Winter hours (after Labor Day) are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Free entrance.
