You should put on your comfortable hiking shoes because this hike is about 6.5 miles total and it entails climbing 600 feet along a dry streambed of red rock canyon walls and white Coconino sandstone cliffs!
The trail is a strenuous hike on a loop. This trail can be accessed from Dry Creek Trailhead off Dry Creek Road.
Make sure to bring map that is given by the Sedona Information Center. Bring a backpack and carry with you enough water and extra food. Tell a friend or a family where you are hiking so if you disappear or got lost, they know where to track you right away. Or in case there is an emergency, your loved ones know where you are!
Also, make sure to wear a hat and wear a sunscreen. Don't get your skin burnt!
