"Plaka" Greece Things to Do Tip by Magnum_P.I.

Greece Things to Do: 909 reviews and 1,592 photos

Plaka is the old town of Athens. The neighbourhood of the Gods, as Greeks and Foreigners alike have dubbed it. Narrow and paved streets are the main characteristics of Plaka. It is a unique area and extremely colourful, full of taverns, wine shops, cafeterias, bars, churches and tourists. It was a great place to wonder around and just get lost!

Directions: Located on the northeastern slopes of the rock of the Acropolis, Athens.
