After visiting the Cathedral, we walked to the lake Cocibolca, is a nice walk along the Calle de la Calzada, full of cafés, restaurants and bars with nice terraces. Between the two places is located this interesting church. It was built in 1626 by Fray Benito Baltodano, William Walker was sieged here for 18 days, destroying most of the structure. The actual church was restored in 1965.
