Jolly Inn: "Dunning-Polish buffet" Top 5 Page for this destination Jolly Inn Tip by Dabs

Not a place to go if you are on a diet, lots of the items on the buffet are soaked in butter or fried or covered in sauce. And it's not a place that you will find many people that are not from the neighborhood as Dunning is one of those neighborhoods that people who live here don't even know that it exists much less tourists.

While I thought the food here was very good and the servers quite efficient, I like Red Apple a bit better, the Avondale location is much better for visitors and the buffet has a larger selection.

Favorite Dish: The buffet is an amazingly cheap $9.95 for dinner, the buffet is stocked with Polish/Eastern European favorites like pierogi, blintzes, potato pancakes, sausage and dumplings plus many different kinds of meat, usually smothered in gravy-roast beef, roast duck, turkey, pork. There was ham and roast beef being carved as well.

If you find that you need something a little more healthy to balance out all the butter and sauces, there's a salad bar and fresh fruit. I didn't even get to the desserts, there wasn't much when I looked but I couldn't have eaten it anyway

Soup and drinks are extra.
