Naperville is a Chicago suburb about 35 miles southwest of downtown Chicago. If you work in downtown Chicago one alternative you have to get into the city is to take METRA's Burlington Northern Line. For the morning and afternoon work commuters there are a number of express trains that get you into Chicago (morning) and back to Naperville (afternoon) in about 33 minutes. At other times of the day starting at about 4:45 a.m. in the morning until Midnight there are local trains (they use the same tracks, but make stops at all stations along the way) which take a little over an hour to and from Naperville.

The main Naperville station (there is one other at Route 59 a little further west) is also where you can pick up an AMTRAK train which has a number of routes to various spots around the United States.
