Serving the Lombard community of Rome since 1471, the Basilica dei Santi Ambrogio e Carlo is dedicated to two Saints from Milano, Sant'Ambrogio (died in 397) and San Carlo Barromeo (in 1610). The grand Baroque structure dates from the early 17th century when the basilica was rebuilt. It is located on the busy Via del Corso, not too far from Via Condotti.
