Ouchy, Lausanne: 11 reviews and 28 photos
Once a fishermen's village, Ouchy was incorporated into the City of Lausanne in the mid-19th century to serve as a port on Lake Geneva. In 1823 the first steam boat in Switzerland linked it to Genrva. Now Ouchy is the "riviera face" of Lausanne. The beautiful views of the lake & Alps, and the cooler air in summer have made it a popular place especially in the summer months.
There are many hotels and restaurants in Ouchy, including remarkable Chateau d'Ouchy. Olympic Museum and Musee de l'Elysee, photography museum are in Ouchy too.
