It was a little over a month since we started looking for a moderately economic, centrally located, clean and a recomendable place to stay, fortunately we found these place called Banana Guests House. We@had received our room for we were expecting to arrive at 6 in the evening unfortunately our plane had problems and it was delayed for nearly 4 hours and we got to the guests house nearly 11 in the evening. No hazzle with the manager, his name is Shibata san. These place we would recomend to even tourists going for 3 star hotel, as it:s clean and very comfortable, and more than anything it:s very affordable. A double room is 4,000 yen. The room has your own refrigirator, your own television, your own air condition unit. This is 15 mins. by train to Namba. Most of the guests house we check there is these lock out (meaning you need to be out of the premises as they clean up thewho guests house, but not at these Banana Guests House). No curfew. Bikes are free for guests to use. What we enjoy most is the kitchen. It is fully and well equipped for any kind of serious cooking, fun cooking or any meals you need to prepare. Kitchen is always clean.

Unique Qualities: The Manager is very helpful, easy going place to stay, even for families, we would recommend this place. Manager speaks good English and if can:t explain to you what he needs to tell you, his assistant speaks a bit more English.
