You will see many of these different plaques in and around the Rosiers and Marais districts, traditionnally Jewish areas, attached to the schools. They are all of the same theme; this one says :
"To the memory of the Director, personnel and children of this school, arrested in 1943 and 1944 by the Vichy police and the Gestapo, deported and exterminated in Auschwitz because born Jews".
ST. Paul metro station is pretty central for the whole Marais area.
