"Maglev Train - Pudong to Shanghai" China Transportation Tip by graeme83

I flew in to Pudong Airport for the sole reason that I wanted to travel on the maglev train. On board the train is a speedometer showing the speed the train is travelling. On my journey it reached over 400 kp/h, which is by far the fastest I have ever travelled on land.

From Pudong Airport the maglev travels to Longyang Road, which is on the Shanghai metro system. With an airline ticket the price of a one-way journey is 40RMB (2008).
