Downtown, Tucson: 38 reviews and 118 photos
Tucson has a small but well done zoo in the center of town. It is located in Reed Park which also has an aquatice park, hosts concerts, and is the spring training home of the Colorado Rockies. The zoo also has two snack bars, a gift shop, and a kid's learning center.
The zoo is open from 9 AM to 4 PM and is closed on Christmas Day and closes early on Thanksgiving Day. Admission is $6 for adults age 15 to 61; $4 for 62 and over; and $2 for kids 2 to 14. The website says there is ample parking at the entrance but that is not always true. You may have to park a little farther away and walk. Arrive early during peak visiting times.
Address: 1100 S Randolph Way, Tucson, AZ 85716
Directions: The Zoo is located off of Randolph Way, just north of 22nd Street. Randolph Way is the first street west of Alvernon.
