  • A FAT RASCAL - Harrogate

Betty’s is a Harrogate institution. Although it is expensive the food is delicious and the service very good. The atmosphere is of an old English tearoom with afternoon teas a speciality.

January 2014
visited Harrogate again today, I couldn't go to Harrogate and not buy one of Betty's delicious "fat rascals". A cross between a fruit scone and a rock cake at £1.95 each they are worth every penny.

Favorite Dish: A fat rascal [a really large friut scone with jam and cream].

Address: 1 Parliament Street

There's a Betty's in York isn't there? Is the one in Harrogate the original?
