  Aquaria Water Museum
by hopang

Aquaria Water Museum is located at Falkenbergsgatan, within a stone's throw from Skansen at the island of Djurgården in the city of Stockholm. Aquarium has always been one of our favourite tourist attractions whenever we go sight-seeing abroad as we are very interested in sea creatures such as stingrays, catfish and large sharks. Aquaria Water Museum is divided into several sections such as the Tropical Rainforest of Amazon and mangroves, Tropical Sea with sea aquarium and coral reefs and the Nordic Waters.

There are guided films at audio-visual room in the museum. For those who are hungry and thirsty there is a museum café serving light meals and drinks. A museum shop is available for those who wish to purchase some souvenirs to take home. The museum's opening hours are between 10.00 a.m. and 4.30 p.m. daily except Monday which is closed. Admission fees are SEK80.00 for adults and SEK40.00 for children. Free admission for those who possess Stockholm Card.
