"Transporation from LaGuardia to Manhattan" LaGuardia Tip by deniseesser

LaGuardia, New York City: 41 reviews and 25 photos

Hi there!

I have had luck regarding accommodations in NYC using Priceline and bidding on a hotel downtown.

As far as transportation from LaGuardia, there are a few options. There are many shuttle services at the airport once you get your luggage that are part of ground transportation. I can't remember costs off the top of my head, but they are more than reasonable...I think around $15.

A cab will cost you about $30-40 depending on traffic, plus tip and tolls (at least this was back in August 2008 and I went to Times Square) and is the quickest/most convenient way to travel. Bear in mind that it does depend on traffic.

As far as what to do- catch a Broadway (get tickets 1/2 price the day of if you want to save money and sacrifice time), walk the Brooklyn Bridge, see Times Square, walk though Central Park, enjoy dining at a nice restaurant...the possibilities are endless! To me, most of the experience of New York is just walking around breathing it all in.

Address: New York City
Directions: Queens. Can use M60, Q33 busses.
Mode: AROUND
Type: Car/Motor Home
