There are remnants of dinosaurs all over the state. They found a mammoth in the Salt Lake Foothills. The dinosaur bones they dug out of the Dinosaur Natl monument ended up in museums around the world. There is Cleveland Lloyd dig site south of Price, there are actually dig sites all over the state, you just don't hear about most of them. The new Johnson Farm museum in St George has some amazing footprints. I've seen footprints in situ in countless spots around the state. Good museums to see Utah's dinosaurs are: the Utah Natural History Museum on the University of Utah campus -home of the Utah Raptor (moving soon into a brand new building), The State Field House museum in Vernal, the Prehistoric Museum in Price, the Johnson Farm Dinosaur museum outside St George. Also fun is the Museum of Ancient Life at Thanksgiving point and the Eccles Dinosaur park in Odgen.
