Also known as the "Temple of the Black Virgin," Prasat Neang Khmao is located about 55 km south of Phnom Penh.

The two very impressive small Angkorian era temples were built in the 10th century under King Jayavarman IV.
The temple complex is named after Neang Khmau, ?Black Lady? whose statue is located in front of the temples.
The nearby modern pagoda sits on the site of a third temple ruin.
