  The round Gol Deval Mandir
by MM212

Located at the centre of an intersection, Gol Deval marks the unofficial border between the mostly Moslem and mostly Hindu neighbourhoods north of Crawford Market. The Hindu temple is called "Gol", which means "round", because of its round shape. It is one of the older Hindu temples in the city, dating probably from the early 19th century. The area surrounding the temple is famous for its markets, including Chor Bazaar

Address: Ladiwal Chowk, near Chor Bazaar
