Anadolu Kavagi is located approximately 30 kilometers north of Istanbul near the entrance to the Black Sea at Asian side of Turkey. This is the last stop of Bosphorus Strait's cruise. As the boat will be stopping for approximately two hours, we will have ample time to do some sight-seeing.
Climbing to the top of the hill where the ruins of an old castle are located is especially challenging! The top of the hill is approximately 500 meters above sea level. But it is worth the climb as you will be rewarded with a spectacular and breath-taking view of Bosphorus Strait and the Black Sea - such an amazing scene, it has to be said! Admission to the ruins of the old castle is free, not much of the ruins stand today due to weather erosion over the centuries! Please flip through our photos above to see some lovely scenes of the Black Sea!.
