"Regent's Park" Regent's Park - Primrose Hill Tip by Airpunk
Regent's Park - Primrose Hill, London: 41 reviews and 101 photos
Regents Park is one of the Royal Parks of London and a very well-kept. There is a lot to see in this park, canals, flowers, exotic plants and villas. Events, such as concerts, take often place in the park. Regent's Park began its history as property of Barking Abbey and was transferred to the crown after the dissolution of the monasteries. Since then, it remained in property of the crown (with exception of the time of the Republic).
Its popularity is somewhat lower than Hyde Park?s, maybe because Hyde Park is a well-known name around the world or maybe because restrictions for animals, closing times etc. are stricter at Rregent?s Park. However, it is worth a visit. If you want to visit Camden Town, why don?t you take the Tube to Baker Street and walk to Camden by crossing the park?
Address: Off Ulster Terrace
Directions: Baker Street, Regent?s Park and Great Portland Street are the nearest tube stations.
