  Casa Zavala
by Aitana

San Nicolas square is accessed from San Pedro street through an arch. In the center of the square there is a delicate sculpture. In front of it, the façade of San Nicolas church and beside, the Casa de Landa or Casa Zavala, one of the richest houses in the Cuenca with a splendid collection of iron-work grilles.

San Nicolas church, built in Renaissance style, is quite simple, with a unique nave.

Casa Zavala houses the foundation Antonio Saura, a modern exhibition space and a venue that hosts cultural events such as concerts, conferences and courses.
