Regős Étterem és Falatozó: "District VI: Hungarian" Top 5 Page for this destination Regos Tip by antistar
Regos, Budapest: 1 reviews and 1 photos
This is a regular meet up point for the Budapest Couch Surfing community. It is packed every Tuesday with visiting travellers and travelling locals. The food is solid and traditional Hungarian fare, at very reasonable prices, and excellent, friendly service. Everyone eats on long, wooden, communal tables, in the old fashioned Hungarian style.
Favorite Dish: The "Gundel" style pancakes are a favourite with everyone, as much for the flaming brandy as the flavour.
Address: Szófia utca 33
Price Comparison: less expensive than average
Directions: Take the M1 to Oktagon, walk down Terez Korut (away from Nyugati) and take a left up Szofia utca. It's at the end of the street, on your right, in a quiet part of the city.
Price: less than US$10
