The Fo Guang Shan Dong Zen Temple located in Jenarom, is often called the “crown in Jenjarom’s jewel”... The temple is one of the many branches of Fo Guang Shan that have many branches throughout the world... It serves as a one-stop educational and cultural centre for Buddhist studies and practices... It is one of Selangor’s biggest tourist attractions every year when worshippers celebrate the Chinese New Year and Wesak and tourists come from all over the country and Asean countries...

Besides having the main shrine, the temple also has a beautifully manicured garden, meditation and lecture halls, an art gallery and a vegetarian tea house... It is home to 33 statues of Kuan Yin witin the temple grounds... Worshippers come to offer prayers for their good fortune, others seeking divine intervention to solve their problems and paying penance for their answered prayers... Visitors come in to simply spend time at the garden, to admire the orchid plants there and find peace at the huge koi pond...
