"Transfer between T1 & T2 in Cairo Airport" Transportation Tip by Poling

Transportation, Cairo: 10 reviews and 5 photos

The distance between T1 & T2 is far. There are a lot of taxi, shuttle buses also available but only every half an hour. Ask police (instead of any other strangers as they probably are taxi drivers) to confirm if the place you wait is correct. We were misled by an airport staff to wait at a place that no bus came across for 40 minutes. The taxi drivers asked you to take a cab, will appear to be very friendly and tell you that bus will come in 5 mins when you refuse their offer. They did not tell us that we were in the wrong bus stop, may be hoping that we would eventually give them high price if we are short of time.
