The Sunflower B&B is a good option for those visiting Kiev on business who can't spend more than the USG maximum lodging allowance on hotels. Falling well within the range for government lodging and centrally located near Maidan, the Sunflower B&B is a pleasant ans safe place to stay.

The hotel is staffed by very friendly English speakers, who seem to go out of their way to be accomodating. The rooms are large - some have patios, and all have large fairly modern bathrooms. A simple continental breakfast is included in the room rate, which, though not spectacular, is appreciated. The one draw back I have found for this hotel (perhaps the only one) is that the walls seem very thin. As I type this now, I am overhearingf a conversation in the next room. Other than that, a very good option for Kiev.

Unique Qualities: Minutes away from the exciting heart of downtown Kiev (Maidan Nezalezhnosti - Independence Square).
