Reval Hotel Latvija is a landmark in the new part of town. With its 27 floors it is the highest building in Riga. The hotel was built during the Soviet era and was a typical Soviet style hotel. It has been fully renovated and is now a nice upmarket hotel. On the 26th floor the is a bar, the Skyline bar, with great views over Riga. It opens in the afternoon and stays open until late. Unfortunately I never went there, but if I come to Riga again I will definitely go there.
