Costa Gallega: "Value for Money Lunch" Costa Gallega Tip by hydtraveller
Costa Gallega, Barcelona: 2 reviews and 2 photos
You enter the restaurant and on the left is a cigarette dispensing machine.
On the right is the bar with a lot of meats hanging from the roof. Also you get to view a wide variety of tapas on display.
The moment we sat down, they got us pickled olives (green and black), pickled green chillies, pickled gherkins in a plate alongwith a basket of variety of breads.
Service is quick and efficient.
Nice place to have a drink, eat tapas or fill your belly.
Favorite Dish: Menu Del Dia aka Menu of Day is a multi course lunch which costed us Euro 9.50 per person - we got green salad, then fish fillet and then one-fourth grilled chicken ... were so full by that time that we do not know what they wanted to serve for dessert - of course, all part of the original price.
A pizza here costed Euro 9.85.
Water was a liitle expensive at Euro 2.05 per bottle. Did not try wines or beer.
