Rajpath, Delhi: 3 reviews and 7 photos

Rajpath (literally translated would mean the Way/street of the King) is the street which is the famous avenue of New Delhi that runs from Rashtrapati Bhavan (President's palace) through Vijay Chowk and India Gate to National Stadium. There are beautiful lawns, government offices on both sides. It crosses Janpath, another important avenue of New Delhi where the Bungalows of most of the Ministers of Government. There is a yellow line on the road marking the two sides as South block and North Block. It has a heavy traffic (but no traffic jams) all through the day. Lots of security and parking is not allowed. This street starts from the India gate and ends at the gates of Rashtrapati Bhavan. It also crosses Sansad Marg and one can see the Parliament House while driving on this street.
