  Parlamento de Navarra

The Parlamento de Navarra is the current legislature for the Foral Community of Navarre (not to be confused with the now defunct Parlement de Navarre in Pau). It is located in the Primer Ensanche, at the very end of the Paseo de Sarasate across from Monumento a los Foros de Navarra. The building was begun in 1888 and completed in the early 1890s in a mix of styles that can only be described as Eclectic with a touch of neo-Classicism. The thing that is interesting about this building is that it is of an odd shape and thus none of the façades has the same dimensions (well, they’re of the same height, but not the same length). The building was initially used as the Palacio de Justicia, but was converted to the Parliament of Navarra in the 1990s. You cannot, obviously, wander into the building to look around, but you are allowed to take pictures of the building.

Address: Paseo de Sarasate
