"Holywell Hill" St Albans Warnings Or Dangers Tip by graeme83

St Albans Warnings and Dangers: 3 reviews and 1 photos

This is a very steep and traffic-lined hill. Legend has it that St. Alban's severed head rolled down the hill from the execution site and into a well at the bottom. If you are at the bottom of the hill it is a much easier and more aesthetic climb to walk up the hill in Verulamium Park.
