"Taking train to Xiamen" Xiamen Transportation Tip by jackiesg

We took the train from Dongguan to Xiamen and it took us around 14hrs ride. I must admit it was a much more comfortable ride than I thought it would! When you buy the train tickets, you can choose the seats tickets, the bunk beds tickets and the 4 beds to a cabin tickets.
The cheapest are the seats tickets where you only have the seat space, the bunk beds tickets entitled you to a soft bed in a big bunk with no doors or lock. The most expensive ones are the 4 beds cabin but you have the doors with locks and heater during winter time.

Again, I must say the train ride was surprisely comfortable. My friend advised me to visit the washroom first thing I get up the train for fear the washrooms would be very dirty later on. To myrelieve, the washrooms were still clean when I used them next day in the morning.
