"Eat in a pub" Pubs & Bars Tip by sjvessey

Pubs & Bars, London: 58 reviews and 100 photos

Eat your lunch in a typical English pub. By now, you're probably getting a bit peckish (an English word for hungry), so why not find a quaint little English pub and go for a bite to eat? Typical fare is chicken pie and chips, fish and chips, roast beef and chips, steak and kidney pie and chips... get the picture? Actually, the modern day pub often has a wide range of reasonably priced food on offer (although quality varies considerably), and it's not uncommon to find Thai curry being served. There'll usually be a range of sandwiches, and of course overpriced warm beer.
